215 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if any semi-State bodies for which he is responsible have made direct or indirect financial contributions to any political party in the past three years; and, if so, if he will give details regarding these contributions, including the amounts paid and the name of each party; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The semi-State bodies under the aegis of my Department made no direct or indirect financial contributions to any political party. However, a subsidiary of the Racing Board provided entertainment for its sponsors at the 1994 Galway Races. I understood this was provided at a table in the Fianna Fáil marquee. The contract for this entertainment was with a catering company and the only payment — £8,100 — was to that company.
