One programme manager has been appointed to my Department. His primary role and function is to assist me in implementing the various provisions of the Government's Programme of Renewal and in helping me to achieve that programme's objectives.
As is the case with all programme managers, he plays an important role in facilitating the effective co-ordination of the Government's programme both within my Department and inter-departmentally. He is also required to perform any duties assigned to him from time to time as appropriate to his position.
