Ceist:165 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of non-nationals paid forestry grants in each of the years 1991 to 1994. [6888/95]
Written Answers. - Forestry Grants.
My Department does not record the nationality of applicants for forestry grants as eligibility for grant-aid is based only on the suitability of the land in question for forestry purposes. The number of grants paid to persons with foreign addresses in each of the years in question were 1991, 4; 1992, 4; 1993, 6; 1994, 6.
However, I cannot state whether these applicants were non-nationals.
