Ceist:118 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on new primary school facilities for Clonakilty, County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6806/95]
Written Answers. - Clonakilty (Cork) School Facilities.
My Department recently informed the management of Clonakilty junior boys' national school that a building project for the school will be included in a phased programme for 1995 and, within that programme, will be progressed as quickly as possible through the various planning and construction stages. A decision on the timing of the tender-contract process will be made in due course in the light of resources and competing priorities. It is not possible at this stage to indicate when construction work will commence on the project.
