80 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in work starting on the building of the new fire station for Enniscorthy which went to tender some months ago; and when he expects that work will commence. [7074/95]
A tender proposal for the proposed new fire station in Enniscorthy was submitted by Wexford County Council to my Department on 1 March 1995. The proposal is being considered in the light of the funds available for fire services purposes in 1995 and the competing demands on those funds.
