Written Answers. - Health Board Structure.
Limerick East): The health strategy, which forms the basis for this Government's programme in the health area, proposes the introduction of legislation to include a reform of structures in the Eastern Health Board area, which would include a clear definition of the roles of both board and executive. Preparation of this legislation is under way in my Department but I am not yet in a position to comment on any changes which may be made in the constitution of the health boards or in the executive structure of the boards.
