Responsibility for enforcement of the School Attendance Act in the Dublin city area rests with the relevant school attendance committee. In other areas, responsibility rests with the relevant Garda authorities.
I have noted the details submitted by the Deputy in relation to this case and am arranging for the matter to be brought to the attention of the relevant school attendance committee.
