Ceist:

139 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made to complete the application in the Land Registry of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the fact that an early resolution is required to expedite his farm retirement application. [7999/95]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that Dealing Nos. P2438/95 and P2439/95 are applications for Transfers of Part which were lodged on 6 April 1995. I am further informed that these dealings are awaiting registration.

I am informed that it is the policy of the Land Registry to try, as far as possible, to expedite cases in which it can be established that special circumstances of urgency exist and I have asked the Register of Titles to expedite this case.
