80 Mr. Molloy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the purpose of the lunch which he held for journalists in the Department of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, 5 April 1995, and the manner in which the lunch was funded. [8094/95]
I hosted a lunch to brief political correspondents on Wednesday, 5 April 1995. I do so occasionally — once or twice a year. Because of the proximity of the lunch to my Party's Annual Conference, I directed that any costs arising from the lunch should be borne by the Labour Party.
