Ceist:81 Mr. Bree asked the Minister for Education the reason she will not sanction payment of a higher education grant to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo. [8275/95]
Written Answers. - Higher Education Grant.
Sligo County Council is the body entrusted with the administration of the higher education grants scheme for the person in question. The council has indicated that the applicant is seeking grant aid in respect of the 1987-88 academic year but it has no record of any application having been received until 1994. It is not the practice to award grant aid in such circumstances.
