148 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment when grant approval will be sanctioned in relation to an application from a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8847/95]
A grant of £264,000 was approved in February 1993 towards the provision of 12 units of accommodation under the capital assistance scheme. A revised application, which relates to the provision of 20 units of accommodation, was received last month and is under consideration. Tipperary (SR) County Council, who are responsible for administering the scheme in the area, will be advised of the outcome as soon as possible.
149 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding an application by persons (details supplied) in Cork for a new house grant; and if he will confirm that all the relevant information has been received by his Department. [8859/95]
The grant will be paid as soon as possible.
