172 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction a grant for carrying out essential roof replacement work at a school (details supplied) in Dublin 11 as the matter has already gone to tender approval stage and any further delay will result in the fabric of the school building being seriously damaged. I am aware of the roof problems at the school in question. However, because of the many extensive programmes of work on hand, it was not possible to include the replacement roof project in the 1995 programme. It is hoped that this project will be proceeded with as soon as financial provisions allow.
