87 Mr. Dempsey asked the Taoiseach the number of contacts as Taoiseach and head of Government he has made with the British Prime Minister in the period 1 January 1995 to 30 April 1995; and the nature of the contacts, by phone, letter or meeting. [8683/95]

The Taoiseach

Since being appointed as Taoiseach, I have had three formal meetings with the British Prime Minister, as well as frequent informal contacts.
