74 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Health his views on the fact that an 87 year old patient seeking an out-patient appointment in the eye department, Mater Hospital, was given an appointment date more than one year away. [9165/95]
Limerick East): I have made inquiries in this case and I understand from the Mater Hospital that the person concerned will be seen at the out-patient eye department in the next few weeks. The hospital authorities will be in touch with the patient with a date for the appointment.
