Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy O'Donoghue — the proposed performance, development and review system in the Garda Síochána; (2) Deputy Dermot Ahern — the administrative arrangements regarding the proposed extension of the free travel scheme to Northern Ireland; (3) Deputy Foley — the proposal to close the ESB shop in Church Street, Listowel, County Kerry; (4) Deputy Michael Kitt — the need for a second bus to be restored for students who are attending second-level schools in Ballinasloe, County Galway; (5) Deputy Quill — the proposal to locate a second UCC campus at what was formerly Our Lady's Hospital, Lee Road, Cork; (6) Deputy O'Dea — the crisis in the provision of child care services particularly in view of the recent decision by IMPACT to refuse new child abuse referrals in Dublin and (7) Deputies Kirk and O'Hanlon — the threatened closure of ESB offices in the north-east.

The matters raised by the following Deputies have been selected for discussion: Deputies Michael Kitt, Quill, O'Donoghue and Dermot Ahern.
