Byrne asked the Minister for Education if she will accede to the request of the Kildare Place national school, the practising school of the Church of Ireland College of Education, for the necessary sanction to proceed with the building of additional classrooms for remedial education, computer instruction and library facilities; her views on whether the contribution of £50,000 which the school has raised represents a substantial commitment by the school itself to this project which has been costed at £86,000; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
