I propose to take Questions Nos. 25 and 79 together.
As stated in the reply to Question No. 60 of 9 May 1995, appropriate measures to deal with this type of packaging will be considered in the context of the further implementation of both the Government's strategy on waste recycling, to which the Industry Task Force on Recycling is currently preparing a response, and the Waste Bill, 1995, which was recently published. Section 29(2) of the new Bill provides extensive powers to make regulations in relation to the recovery and control of packaging and other forms of waste.
