Written Answers. - Garda Building Capital Budget.
Funding for the Garda building programme is provided in the Vote for the Office of Public Works and is, therefore, a matter for which I do not have direct responsibility. However, it is one of my priorities as Minister for Justice to ensure that adequate and suitable accommodation is provided for the gardaí and, in that context, I will endeavour to ensure that maximum funding is made available for the Garda building programme consistent with the availability of Exchequer resources.
