Vol. 454 No. 3

Written Answers. - Wexford Hospital Facilities.

Hugh Byrne

Ceist:

108 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the parking arrangements at Wexford County Hospital where there is adequate space for parking but available land is landscaped and street parking is causing a safety problem; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that there are no proper toilet facilities for mourners at the hospital; if such facilities will be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10698/95]

Limerick East): The provision of car parking at Wexford General Hospital and toilet facilities for mourners at the hospital is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board in the first instance. I have made inquiries of the South-Eastern Health Board and I understand that there are plans to provide additional car spaces at Wexford General Hospital. A new mortuary is being provided for the hospital within the next few months which will have proper facilities.
