141 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the application of two schools (details supplied) in County Louth to take part in the early start programme for primary schools; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [11170/95]
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the schools referred to will have the service of the early start pre-school programme with effect from September next.
The schools in question are among a total of 32 primary schools to which the programme has been extended as a result of the allocation of an additional 25 pre-school units to the service in the current year.
