179 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if legislation is necessary to give effect to EU Directives regarding milk quality and somatic cell counts; and, if so, when he proposes to introduce this legislation. [11160/95]

Regulations to implement the Directives in question are in course of preparation and will be promulgated as soon as possible.
