36 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Health if he proposes to publish the findings of the inquiry into the handling of the Kelly Fitzgerald case by the relevant health board; when he expects to receive the report of the group which was established to examine the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Limerick East): As I explained to the Deputy at the meeting of the Select Committee on Social Affairs on 13 June, during the discussion on the Health Estimate for 1995, it is my intention that as much as possible of the report of the team appointed by the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to examine the circumstances of that board's involvement with the late Kelly Fitzgerald and her family will be put into the public domain.
I understand from the health board that the work of the investigation team is progressing, and I expect to receive a copy of the team's report before the Dáil resumes after the summer recess.
