150 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment the number of applications to each local authority for disabled persons reconstruction grants in the last year for which figures are available; the number approved; the average length of time for processing such applications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The disabled person's grant scheme is administered by the local authorities. My Department's role relates primarily to the recoupment of a proportion of local authority expenditure in the payment of individual grants. The information requested is not therefore available in the Department.
