230 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Education the action, if any, she proposes to take to ensure that promoters of teachers in-career development courses are approved earlier and that details of courses are made available to teachers well in advance of the end of term. [13172/95]

I take it the Deputy is referring to the summer course programme for primary teachers. I assure the Deputy that it is my Department's intention to give improved notice to course providers and teachers regarding the 1996 summer course in service programme.
