269 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice the number of proceedings issued pursuant to the Guardianship of Infants Act, 1964, in the District Court in each of the legal years commencing 1 August 1985 to 31 July 1986, up to and including the legal year 1 August 1994 to 31 July 1995. [12944/95]
270 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice the number of applications made for maintenance by spouses pursuant to the Family Law (Maintenance of Spouses and Children) Act, 1976, in the District Court in each of the legal years 1 August 1985 to the 31 July 1986, up to and including the year 1 August 1994 to 31 July 1995. 271 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice the number of applications made to the District Court for barring orders in each of the legal years commencing 1 August 1985 to 31 July 1986, up to and including the legal year 1 August 1994 to 31 July 1995; and the number of barring orders granted by the District Court in each of these years. I propose to take Questions Nos. 269, 270 and 271 together.
The statistics sought by the Deputy in so far as they are available are set out as follows. Statistics in respect of the year ended 31 July 1995 are not readily available but are being sought. I will do my utmost to have this information made available to the Deputy within two weeks, but the Deputy should be aware that the compilation of these statistics may take a little longer in some cases.
