415 Dr. McDaid asked the Minister for the Marine the reason he has not replied to Donegal County Council regarding the provision of a ferry slipway at Rathmullen and at Buncrana in spite of ten reminders on the subject. [12901/95]
During my visit to Donegal in August I discussed this with local councillors and arranged for the matter to be taken up between officials of the Department and the council to sort out any difficulties. Information is now flowing both ways and the two applications are being progressed. I would hope to be in a position to decide on the two lease applications in the near future.
