There are some 2,500 people currently employed in companies approved for the International Financial Services Centre, Dublin.
As regards Shannon, there are about 300 people engaged in international financial services activities in the airport zone. In addition, a further 2,000 people are employed in other international services such as distribution, data processing and aircraft repair and maintenance.
