78 Miss Harney asked the Minister for the Environment if he will agree to meet with a deputation from the residents flood committee in Cherrywood, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, to discuss Phase II of the flood relief scheme and the issue of compensation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are no proposals from South Dublin County Council with my Department for this scheme. In these circumstances, and given that my Department has no function in relation to possible compensation of this kind, I have already informed this committee that a meeting would not be appropriate.
