Vol. 456 No. 5

Written Answers. - Exports to Member Countries.

Tony Killeen

Ceist:

142 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade the policy of his Department in relation to exporting to Amber countries, that is countries that have neither strong nor weak currencies. [14149/95]

David Andrews

Ceist:

158 Mr. Andrews asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade the policy of his Department in relation to exporting to Amber countries, that is countries that have neither strong nor weak currencies. [14167/95]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 142 and 158 together.

It is not clear to me what countries the Deputies have in mind. However, I can confirm that it is my Department's general policy, as well as that of An Bord Tráchtála, to help Irish exporters as much as possible in identifying and pursuing worthwhile commercial opportunities in all markets. If the Deputies have a specific issue in mind they can write to me and I will be happy to look into the matter.
