51 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the extension to Deravoy National School, County Monaghan; the current position of the development; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14740/95]
The school referred to by the Deputy has been included in my Departments 1995 capital building programme.
The planning and building unit in my Department will shortly be contacting the school authorities to make arrangements for the appointment of an architect for the project.
As the project is at the initial stages of planning, it is not possible to say when construction work will commence.
