Ceist:77 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Finance the plans, if any, the Office of Public Works has to improve the sluice at Clohahinchy, County Clare, before the onset of winter floods and high tides. [14938/95]

There are no proposals to carry out improvement works to the sluice in question in the immediate future. Maintenance of the scheme of works carried out in 1990 will be undertaken as required.
