The following are the details of the announcements made by the Minister for Education and the Ministers of State at the Department of Education since 15 December 1994 regarding the location or relocation of any institution, organisation, project or scheme involving public funds, which came under the aegis of the Department of Education, in their Dáil constituencies.

1. In 1982, in line with the recommendations included in the Report on Higher Education in Dublin (1979), the Department of Education acquired a site at Carriglea Park, Dún Laoghaire for a new regional technical college. The project, which was deferred in 1987, was given the go-ahead by the Government on 26 July 1995. This decision was announced by the Minister for Education on the same day. The first phase is estimated to cost £4.5 million.
2. The Minister for Education mentioned in her comments on developments relating to Autistic children that it was decided to avail of the offer of the Daughters of Charity to relocate two schools for emotionally disturbed children which were originally located at Ballyowen, Lucan and Blanchardstown, County Dublin to one centre in vacant accommodation on the campus of the Daughters of Charity at Beechpark, Stillorgan, County Dublin.
3. In June 1995, the Minister of State at the Department of Education, Deputy Allen, announced the establishment of a special project for disadvantaged young people in Bishopstown, Cork City. Funding for the project in 1995 is £8,000.
