106 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Marine the consultants who were appointed by his Department since 16 December 1994; if they were appointed following a tendering procedure; if the consultant appointed in each case was the lowest tenderer; and if not, who the lowest tenderer was. The following consultants were appointed since 16 December 1994 to undertake studies-provide services to the Department: Irish Hydrodata Ltd; Price Waterhouse Management Consultants; Crest Nicholson Marinas Ltd; Vision Information Consulting Ltd. (Jointly with Department of Defence); Brady Shipman Martin Planning Consultants in association with HR Wallingford Ltd., Natural Environment Consultants and Ms Susan Gubbay. (These consultants were engaged by the Department of the Marine in association with the Department of the Environment and the Office of Public Works); Dr. Sinéad Niland; Aquafact International Services Ltd; Forbairt; Malachy Walsh & Partners; Kirk McClure Morton; HGL O'Connor; Lee McCullough & Partners; Ms Teresa McKeon; Mr. Gabriel King; Carr Communications (jointly with the Department of Defence). Tenders were invited, where appropriate, and contracts were awarded in accordance with Government guidelines in relation to public procurement and tendering.
