103 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Defence the consultants who were appointed by his Department since 16 December 1994; if they were appointed following a tendering procedure; if the consultant appointed in each case was the lowest tenderer; and if not, who the lowest tenderer was. [15712/95]
The following consultants were appointed since 16 December 1994 to undertake studies — provide services to the Department: Ernst and Young; Ewbank, Preece and O'hEocha, Consulting Engineers; Hugh Munro & Co. Ltd., Consulting Engineers; PARC Aviation Ltd; Vision Information Consulting Ltd. (jointly with the Department of the Marine); Carr Communications Ltd. (jointly with the Department of the Marine).
Tenders were invited, where appropriate, and contracts were awarded in accordance with Government guidelines in relation to public procurement.
