76 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Finance if he will give an itemised breakdown of the £13,824 stated as the cost of replying to parliamentary questions answered on 24 October 1995; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16141/95]
The £13,824 was arrived at by multiplying the number of questions answered on the day (216) by £64 which, as stated by the Minister of State, Deputy Higgins in his speech in the Dáil on 25 October 1995, was the approximate cost of answering a parliamentary question as calculated in 1992.
