110 Kathleen Lynch asked the Minister for the Marine when he intends to approve proposals submitted by Donegal County Council seeking a prohibition order on motor vehicles on beaches and adjoining sand dunes at Carrickfinn, Kincasslagh and Lisfannon, Buncrana, County Donegal. [16962/95]
Donegal County Council has applied to the Department of the Marine for orders prohibiting the disturbance of beach material by motorcycles, beach buggies and like vehicles at the two beaches referred to. The applications were published last July in local newspapers in accordance with the Foreshore Acts. No objections to the making of the proposed orders were received. I will be making a decision on the matter quickly after receipt of legal advice.
