79 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if the second payment due to REPS qualified recipients is paid after one year from the date of original payments; if it is his intention to make payments on the date they become due, 12 months from previous payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under the REPS scheme second (and subsequent) payments will be made on receipt of proof from qualified participants that they have complied with their agri-environment plan and the specifications in each year of the scheme. In most cases this should be close to one year from the date of the original payment.
