69 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education, arising from her reply to Parliamentary Question No. 109 on 10 October 1995, the reason the commitment to contact the school authorities within weeks was not honoured; and when the work promised will commence. [18334/95]
The reason my Department has not been in touch with the school authorities since October is that the report requested from the Office of Public Works is not yet available.
My Department has been in contact with the Office of Public Works and has been assured that this report will be forwarded by 7 December, 1995. A decision on grant-aid will be taken when this information has been received and processed.
