69 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Health his response to the plan submitted by the Department of Medicine at the Mayo General Hospital and the Sacred Heart Home, Castlebar, County Mayo, on 27 July 1995; and whether he is prepared to give additional resources to provide medical cover to enable the unit to open in January 1996. , Limerick East): The request by the Western Health Board for additional medical staff at Castlebar will be considered in the light of additional resources available next year and the priorities of the board. The outcome should be known by the end of February 1996.
