49 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Education the schools that have availed of funding from the £50,000 grant to provide equipment for children with special needs to assist in their integration into mainstream schools. [18773/95]

Twenty-one grants towards the purchase of equipment for pupils with a disability have been sanctioned since the scheme was notified to schools in May of this year, eleven of which have been paid. The outstanding grants will be paid when claims and receipted invoices are furnished to the Department by the schools concerned.

A list of schools which have received payments under the scheme is being circulated in the Official Report.

School who have received Grants towards the Purchase of Equipment for Pupils with a Disability up to 13 December 1995.

1. St. Brendan's Community School, Birr, County Offaly.

2. St. Killian's Community School, Ballywaltrim, Bray, County Wicklow.

3. Sacred Heart Secondary School, Castlebar Street, Westport, County Mayo.

4. St. Peter's College, Dunboyne, County Meath.

5. Presentation Secondary School, Tralee, County Kerry.

6. Presentation Convent Secondary School, Waterford.

7. Coláiste Cholmcille, Indreabhan, Contae na Gaillimhe.

8. Our Lady's School, Templeogue Road, Dublin 6.

9. Kenmare Vocational School, Kenmare, County Kerry.

10. St. Michael's Vocational School, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

11. Loreto Secondary School, Foxrock, Dublin 18.
