111 Mr. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction the appropriate grant to enable the Convent of Mercy School, Roscommon, to carry out essential repairs at a cost of £55,000, in order to comply with the chief fire officer's report and ensure the safety of pupils and staff. Documentation outlining safety requirements at the Convent of Mercy Secondary School, Roscommon, is under consideration in my Department.

It is hoped this project will be proceeded with as soon as financial provisions allow.
