Ceist:26 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Justice the progress, if any, made in the processing of applications for the repatriation of republican prisoners from the United Kingdom. [17632/95]
Written Answers. - Republican Prisoner Repatriation.
No formal applications have been received from the UK authorities with respect to republican prisoners wishing to transfer to serve their sentences in Ireland. I expect, however, to receive the first batch of such applications in the near future. When received, I will ensure that each application will be processed as a matter of urgency.
