178 Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for Health whether he will make funding available to the Western Health Board in 1996 specifically for the opening of the Galway Hospice; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1194/96]

Limerick East): I will take a decision on the issue of funding for the Galway Hospice in the context of imminent discussions with the Western Health Board regarding its service plans for 1996.
