554 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the progress, if any, that has been made in relation to his Department offices relocating in Tipperary town; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1063/96]
As a result of negotiations following a public advertisement, the Office of Public Works recently reached agreement, subject to obtaining planning permission, for the purchase of a site in Tipperary town. It is expected that a contract for sale will be completed shortly which will enable the Office of Public Works to proceed with the planning of the proposed new offices on the site.
