Ceist:44 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment when approval will be given to Louth County Council for the Ballymascanlon realignment contract; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1635/96]
Written Answers. - Ballymascanlon (Louth) Realignment Contract.
Louth County Council recently submitted contract documents for the ground improvement and earthworks contract (Stage 1) for the Ballymascanlon Bridge realignment scheme. Certain amendments have been suggested by my Department to the council who will be resubmitting revised documents shortly. It is anticipated that the contract for Stage 1 will be awarded in May-June 1996. The main contract will follow completion of Stage 1.
