Ceist:

73 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice the number of Irish Maintenance Orders forwarded to the United Kingdom for enforcement there pursuant to the Maintenance Orders Act, 1974, in each of the last 20 years; and the number in each of the last 20 years that have been successfully enforced and resulted in payments being received by spouses entitled to maintenance. As to the first part of the Deputy's question, the information sought is not readily available and could be obtained only by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of time and resources within the courts.
