Ceist:79 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education the reason she has refused to give sanction to Leitrim vocational education committee to fully equip the new science room at Carrigallen vocational school, County Leitrim. [2107/96]
Written Answers - Carrigallen (Leitrim) School.
The Department approved an all-in grant contribution of £80,000 towards the cost of Carrigallen vocational school. The contribution includes all building work, fitted furniture and equipment and professional fees. Any costs arising from the project in excess of the £80,000 must be met in full by the County Leitrim Vocational Education Committee.
The vocational education committee confirmed in writing that the arrangement proposed by the Department as outlined above was acceptable to them.
