Ceist:146 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to direct regional technical colleges to provide adequate access for disabled students; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3027/96]

Provision is made for access by students with special needs in the planning of all new third level education facilities.
Considerable progress has also been made in improving access to existing buildings and my Department continues to give priority to the provision of funding for such improvements.
