68 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Health the total amount paid out in national lottery grants by his Department in respect of each county or constituency in the country; and the specific project funded for each grant allocation. [2887/96]

The total amount allocated from national lottery funds to my Department in 1995 was £23.012 million. Approximately 80 per cent (£18.344 million) of this funding supported ongoing services and partly funded the Capital Programme.

A further amount of £3.29 million was allocated to health boards to fund the respite care grant scheme and the schemes of grants to voluntary organisations.

The remaining sum of £1.378 million was allocated to the organisations and projects listed in the following table.
