154 Mr. Hilliard asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the decision, if any, that has been made regarding a replacement statue of St. Patrick on the Hill of Tara to be sited where the old statue stood; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3842/96]

Proposals for a replacement statue were forwarded to the local historical society in November 1995 and a response is awaited.
